Gbile Akanni is the famous preacher of the Word. He has earned the status of a person that understands and appreciates the messages in the Bible. He runs the inter-denominational companionship foundation. Many Christians from all over the world gather in his congregation. Every person seeking God can find him in this Pastor’s words.
Heis one of the most powerful pastors in Nigeria, he lives in Gboko located in Benue state, Nigeria. Not so much is known about his life. as Gbile somehow manages to bring his work to the forefront of his public image. As it was mentioned, he is a founder of the inter-denominational fellowship that is open to any Christian.
It is important to note, that this kind of foundation is not regarded as a church. Mr. Akanni is an itinerant. That means he doesn’t stick to one place to preach his sermons, but travels to the denominations where he is required or invited.
Gbile Akanni reaches thousands of people with his messages. He is the leader of an organization called “Living Seed”. Even though this religious community does not hold the status of church, many Christians with all sorts of background are welcomed there. The initial goal has been one and remains the same to this day, which is, the provision of accessibility of God’s Word to all the layers of society.
In his companionship “Living Seed”, Gbile Akanni conducts Ministers’ Leadership Retreats on an annual basis. Every year thousands of people attend this place. It doesn’t matter what their origin, background or story is. Any person that seeks God can find him in Gbile Akanni’s sermons. Mr. Akanni created not a church but a place where believers turn into righteous disciples with the help of God’s Word.
His powerful preaching shows how deep his desire to change the lives of the people around him is. By virtue of the Word he helps parishioners become eyewitnesses of God’s visit in these difficult times. Gbile is widely seen as one of the most powerful pastors in Nigeria. Due to his intense schedule of trips from one denomination to another, he books his trips several months prior to the actual dates of the visits. At present time, he is married to a beautiful woman. Her name is Sade Akanni and she is a medical doctor. Together they raise four children and peacefully live in their house in Gboko, Nigeria, West Africa.
