Why Every Church Should Have a Singles Fellowship

Singles Fellowship is the gathering of Singles (unmarried youth) to communicate with them, teach and prepare them for the journey of destiny. Usually, singleness lasts for a short while, when compared with the years one would be married. So it’s very important for every church to have singles fellowship. The reasons are stated below:

• Singles Fellowship creates a platform for teaching unmarried youth about marriage.

*It equips and build the minds of Singles for the journey of destiny (marriage).

*It reforms the hearts of Singles and ensures godly living is harnessed to birth godly marriages: what you don’t conceive you can’t deliver.

*It builds connection and friendliness among singles, thereby increasing accommodation and interpersonal relationships.

*It helps singles build prayer altars, they sharpen each other and strength the prayer lives: Iron sharpens iron.

*Single fellowship reduces the pressure in the lives of Singles and assures them of God’s best, especially when they feel down and discouraged.

*It creates an avenue for self/ purpose discovery, development and advancement.

  In all, it is expedient for every church to have singles fellowship, in order to raise outstanding youth that will make good partners and godly parents.
