Opinion: Should I Stop Going to Church? This is what I saw in the Bible that made me cry

My parents are atheist, they never believed in religion, or the Bible. I only became a Christian when I left my parent’s house to live with my aunt in Lagos. My aunt on the other hand, is a devoted Christian. She does not miss any Sunday service. In fact, she made to love the Bible, and I became a born again Christian afterwards. But there was something I saw in the Bible that made me cry.

One faithful day, I was reading and skimming through the Bible in search of New verses that can improve my spiritual life. All of a sudden, I encountered a particular verse in the Bible that made me cry. I almost lost my faith, and I’m still wondering whether to stop going to church as a woman. This is the passage I saw, 1 Corinthians 15 from 34-35.

The Bible is a Christian holy book. It was used many years ago, and luckily, it has gained momentum all over the world. People read the Bible every day just to know more about God, while some read the Bible in other to improve their spiritual lives. There are still some things in the Bible you will read and have doubts, some will even make you shed tears.

From my point of view, here are what I understand from that Bible verse.

1. Women may not be needed in meetings.

Women are also human beings, and they should be allowed to be in any meeting, or place. They should be allowed to speak their minds, because we also have opinions too. We do not need our husbands to speak for us. If you understand what that passage in the Bible was trying to convey, please kindly let us know on the comment section.

2. Women should not speak in the house of God.

I’m really confused about all this. Like I said earlier, I and my aunt are devoted Christians, and we also love the Bible. Is their any reason we should not speak in church?

3. Women should allow their husbands to speak for them.

Since we are not allowed to speak in the house of God, we should allow our husbands to speak for us. The thing is I do not have a husband, so what should I do?
