Pastor Isaiah Wealth, the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Gospel Pillars International spoke about “The mystery of God’s will.” He read the book of Ephesians 1:9 which says:
“Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself”
He explained that the mystery of God’s will is the majesty and the superiority of his wisdom in not always resisting evil or in allowing it to work for good. God’s wisdom is so high that it does not resist evil. While using Kung Fu, as an illustration, he said that the master does not attack first. He waits and uses the coming of his opponent to defeat him; he needs the velocity of his opponent to be able to defeat him. If he goes to his opponent, he needs to create the velocity, so he would wait for his opponent to suffer himself and use his velocity, so they can use that to defeat him.
According to him, you will wonder why God does not just stop the devil, it is because He allows the devil to work for Him. That’s the superiority of wisdom. He said the mystery of the will of God is the majesty and the superiority of his wisdom. Sometimes, you don’t need to always resist evil but you need to grow in his wisdom and allow it to work for good.
In conclusion, you don’t need to always resist the devil and Evil, but you just need to understand the mystery and the superiority of wisdom. God will help us to understand this mystery in Jesus’ name.
