Why I Have Never Asked How My Grandchildren Go To School – Bishop David Oyedepo

The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo spoke to his members at 1st Service, Faith Tabernacle.

According to Church Gist, he said that Success is not a transferable virtue. Many big names around the world today went off when their time was over and all that they left squandered in no time. “Teach your children to take responsibilities,” he said. According to him, he will never ask how his grandchildren go to school because it is their parent’s responsibility.

“How much are they paying?” He said that that is not his business forever, till he dies. Whether you are abroad or ‘in-broad’, anywhere you are, you look after yourself. He said that no one had a dime added to his pay than he is entitled to. He said that you should ask him what he is going to do for his biological children but instead, you should ask them what they will do for him.

Speaking further, he said that one of his mentors said, “Open that bag and take as much as you want.” They were going to have a meeting, hosting some people in Kaduna. He rejected the money and said, “I will rather learn how to get it than have somebody give it to me.” He said that all those ones God placed around his life, who love him so bad, he has not put one pressure on them once. He has never asked, talk less of pressure.

“You are asking a grown-up man, ‘have you eaten?’ Don’t let him eat. Why don’t you go and cook for him?” he said. This is what they call strong man gospel. Well, the good news is, what you are doing today looks like you are playing, but watch how you take the stage.
