Why I Have Never Done 3 Days Dry Fasting in my Life – Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
The Senior Pastor of salvation ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie reveals in one of their church service to the congregation that he has never fasted for 3 days dry before in his life.
Before you crucify the Man of God for not been spiritual enough read what he said concerning fasting below and be blessed.
Some of you have prayed, you have done 40 days, 7 days, 3 days dry, wet, vegetable, all manner of fasting you have done. Have you done 3 days dry before? I have never done it in my life. Somebody did 3 days dry and could not cross road – got to the centre of the road, the road was divided into 2.
You know, to cross the pavement, no leg to cross. One of my Pastor’s brother said he did 3 days dry, and went to preach. As he carried microphone and said, ‘Praise the Lord,’ he saw himself … (laughs).
He said the next thing he heard was, ‘you won’t die! You won’t die!!’ They were pouring him water on the altar. Perfected light. He said when he opened his eyes, everybody’s leg was up and their heads were down. I said Pastor what happened? He said, I was so foolish; how can I do 3 days dry and I will go and shout? Even Jesus did not shout after 40 days; He just said, ‘Satan it is written’ You go and do 3 days dry then you hold microphone to shout – he just fainted.
You will not faint in Jesus’ name.
Some of you do dry; me, I have never done dry oo. I have done 40 days fasting but not dry. Dry? No be God go tell me.
The one you are doing till evening sometimes your eyes will do like this, do like this. Then you will now do dry? And your eyes too will be dry inside. Some of you are very funny. Bible you won’t read, you just do dry. The one you will be moving and your head will be making sounds (mimics). They talk to you, ‘Praise the Lord.’ You say, ‘ah, wetin you dey talk? (They tell you praise the Lord and you reply what are you saying?)’
