2 female Pastors Who have their separate ministries Aside From their husbands

Women in ministry are mostly given the mandate to be under their husbands, whom the Lord has called, as they are to play a major role of support, which is congruent with scripture anyway.

However, there are a few women whom the Lord commits a special ministry to, even though they may still be active in their supporting roles to their husbands’ ministries.

Women like that are usually active in two ministries, firstly, their husbands and then theirs. Or some rare cases, they might be the only ones in ministry while their husbands support them.

Therefore it was for this purpose that this article was written, to reveal two (2) women who have their separate ministries aside from husbands’. They are:

1. Funke Felix-Adejumo

Funke Felix-Adejumo is the wife of Pastor Felix Adejumo – the founder and senior pastor of Agape Christian Ministries, whose headquarter church is located in Akure, Ondo state.

Funke is popularly known in the Nigerian church as a woman who has a vast amount of experience in matters that relate to relationships, dating, and marriage.

Although her husband has been called to found a teaching ministry, which she also supports, she also runs her separate ministry that is driven towards family life.

Having written a couple of books and taught extensive sermons on family life, Funke has become an authority and a voice for women, as she is also known to be a female Enthusiast.

2. Mildred Okonkwo

Mildred Okonkwo is the wife of Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo – the founder and Senior Pastor of David Christian Center (DCC), a ministry whose headquarter is located in Lagos state.

Mildred, just like Funke Adejumo is also known to be a relationship, marriage, and dating coach, who runs some online meetings (sometimes alongside her husband) on family life.

Although Mildred assists Kingsley in the work of the ministry, she also has her separate ministry where she especially ministers to singles.
