The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has advised people of God not to obey God because of what they would eat or drink.
The revered man of God made the declaration in the Open Heavens devotional manual of 28th September, 2021 which has ‘The Ways Of God’ as the topic.
Pastor Adeboye added that many people today are on their way to hell because of their concerns on what they would eat, drink or put on. This, according to him, should not be the case.
Pastor Adeboye said Jesus knew about this truth on food when he quoted the word for the devil in Luke chapter 4 verse 4 which says, “…man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God”.
Going further, Pastor Adeboye, quoting copiously from Mathew 6:25, advised that we should not be overtly concerned about what to eat, drink, or what to put on , but to always walk with God through His word as that will guarantee all our needs being met.
Prayerfully, Pastor Adeboye concluded that when we begin to walk with God according to His word, we shall experience God’s mighty benevolence in Jesus name.
