The Founder and General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has joined the increasing number of individuals and groups who condemned attacks on Nigeria churches as he recently aired his view after gunmen reportedly attacked a Celestial Church of Christ in Ogun State.
According to Daily Advent, some unknown gunmen recently attacked the Celestial Church of Christ, Oshofa Parish at Wasimi, Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State on Tuesday. Daily Post further reported that the gunmen kidnapped the Assistant Shepherd of the parish and a Sunday school teacher.
Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere while condemning this recent development via his Twitter handle, said gradually the church is being targeted. He further asked, “I hope it is not a deliberate action to provoke the Christian body?” He concluded by urging Nigerians to get their PVC ready ahead of 2023 General Elections.
