The Chosen will be translated into 600 languages as part of the new collaboration.

The Chosen will be made available in 600 different languages thanks to a collaboration with a recently established nonprofit.

The Come and See Foundation, a brand-new NGO, wants to subtitle and dub The Chosen in 500 other languages. The Come and See Foundation’s brand-new app offers the series for free. Additional content will be available on the app, such as “Bible Round-tables” and a Season 3 after-show. The software will also allow users to make tax-deductible gifts. The news release stated that the funds will be used to “continue its production, keep the program free around the world,” as well as translate it “into hundreds of languages.”

As a “development and outreach resource for The Chosen,” the foundation describes itself.

Dallas Jenkins, who is the creator and director of The Chosen, said that this new collaboration with Come and See “supercharges our efforts.” “We can now generate episodes bigger and faster, have them translated into more languages, and sell the show on a scale that was before impractical.

The first season has been subtitled and dubbed in 62 different languages. With subtitles in 20 languages, Season 2 has been dubbed in seven tongues.

Stan Jantz, CEO of the Come and See Foundation, called “The Chosen” “such a dramatic and powerful story.” Jantz has served on the boards of trustees for Biola University and the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. With the establishment of the Come and See Foundation, it is our intention to travel with The Chosen and minister to a large portion of the world’s people so they can encounter Jesus in their own language.

As a member of the Come and See Foundation’s board of directors, Matt Green serves as the ministry investment officer for Hobby Lobby. Green started the organization.

Green said in a new video outlining the purpose of the organization that after watching The Chosen for the first time, “I literally grieved and wept.” I then thought, “Wow, what if we could work with The Chosen to translate them into more languages?”

According to Green, the 600 languages that will be the subject of translation are spoken by almost 95% of people around the globe.

The Chosen are referred to as a “gospel movement” on the Come and See Foundation website.

According to the website, “with your assistance, we can spread the gospel of Jesus to the ends of the Earth.”
