Bible Never Says You Will Reap Where You Sow, This Is What It Says – Apostle Johnson Suleman

One of the Nigerian controversial pastors, Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, clarifies the common misconceptions by Christians, thinking that the Bible say they will reap where they sow.

During the church Good Friday Miracle service, which was live on the church’s official TV channel on Facebook, Apostle Suleman preached on ” No Pain No Gain ” and his anchor text is from the book of Luke 23:33, an account of where Jesus was crucified with two thieves on the two sides.

Apostle Johnson Suleman said the reason why many people are disappointed is that they are expecting to reap where they sow. He said that is not what the Bible says. He gave an account of where Jesus fed five thousand men, women and children are not counted, but when Jesus was being killed, those people were the ones saying crucify him. He said that is why many times you don’t reap where you sowed.

He clarifies that the Bible only says whatsoever, not wherever a man sows, he will reap. It means if you do good, you will certainly reap good, but the good may not come from who you did the good to. He added that when God wants to pay you, he will raise somebody you never invested in to pay you for somebody you invested in.

A biblical example he gave was Joseph of Arimathea, who was never a disciple of Jesus, who carried the body of Jesus and placed it in his fine sepulchre. He said Jesus never fed him and Jesus never honoured him. Yet he honours Christ.
