Reno Omokri have reacted to the decision by Davido to donate all the money received during the recent surprised fundraising, organized on his social media page.
It can be recalled that few days ago, Davido had posted on his page that his friends and fellow artist, whom he had helped with hit songs should support him with at least, a million naira each. This post, which according to many was probably done jokingly to catch cruise, but as fate could have it, caught a lot if traction on social media which led to the total sum of #201million naira raised in just 48hours.
Davido had come out to say the money realized which is a total of #251million naira, when summed with an additional 50million he added personally, would be given to orphanage home around the country.
Many had used the opportunity to compare the solicitation made by Davido to those made by religious leaders as well.
Reno Omokri in his Facebook post had reacted to these set of people, saying that Davido has preached a better sermon, compared to the men of God who preach to receive, while Davido’s act was preaching by giving.
