As we await the second coming of Jesus Christ, Christians should ensure that they live and abide by the word of God. However, Apostle Joshua Selman revealed that for as long as he lives, he will never ignore the word of God no matter where. The alternative to this is charms and witchcraft and all kinds of troubles that come with side effects. Heaven and earth will pass away but the word of the Lord abides forever.
According to him, the only guarantee to our fulfilling the purposes of God as we await the return of Christ with honour is to get serious with this scripture. He said that if there’s an attack on your spiritual life you take it seriously and don’t just say one day you will think about it. “It’s an attack and you have to pray in the name of Jesus Christ and when you are praying,” he said.
Speaking further, he advised that you should not be praying and browsing except if the Holy Ghost speaks to you and you are looking for scriptures. You need to quickly keep your phone aside because though it is a blessing, you have to show your dominion over it by keeping it on one side when you are praying. “You can’t be doing too many things and focus,” he said.
Finally, he said that people can come to distract your prayer and study life sometimes. You need to be polite enough to tell them that you are spending a few minutes in the presence of God. “If they love you and they love your destiny they should excuse you,” he said. He said that it is good to live by values otherwise you will crash your spiritual life down.
