Apostle Joshua Selman, founder of Eternity Network International, recently addressed why Christians should not live a reckless lifestyle in a YouTube video.
“I don’t mean to offend you,” the man of God said in the video, “but the way many of us live our lives is indication that we have yet to embrace Jesus’ sovereignty over our lives.” We are masters of our own willpower; we can do whatever we desire. It is not a good idea to strive to modernize Christianity. Thank God for westernization and technology, but many of us have fallen prey to these forces.
“Comfort, lawlessness, and liberty are all in short supply. We can’t keep serving God in this manner. We must be cautious since many of us are rushing into things with no regard for the consequences. We are unconcerned because, after all, we are Christians. Those who penned the history from which we have profited all paid different rates”
