Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall rapper, has made a surprising disclosure on tithe, revealing that he would rather give his money to the street than to a man of God.
Paying tithe has been a difficult task for most Christians, as many believe that there are individuals who need the money more than pastors, like in the instance of Shatta Wale.
Speaking about his success and how he was able to amass such wealth, he explained that he has always been a giver who enjoys seeing others succeed, so anytime he requires assistance, the spirits of those he has aided gather together to offer him good fortune.
“People say a lot of things about me, yet what you believe of me may not be shared by others… Someone, somewhere, wants to support Shatta Wale no matter what, therefore when I travel anywhere, those spirits gather together to help,” he explained.
He went on to say that he has always promised himself that paying tithe is something he will never do, but that he will always love the streets.
