Text: 2 Kings 2: 8-15

☆ Everything that happened on the day Elisha received a double portion of Elijah’s anointing, can only be described by the word ‘wonderful’.
From the parting of Jordan,
To the chariots of fire that took Elijah
To the transfer of anointing
It was all wonderful.

☆ A wonder is something that happens that is so big, your mouth opens involuntarily.

• The miracle of the lame man was a wonder. Acts 3: 1-11

The first name the Father gave Jesus was ‘WONDERFUL’. Isaiah 9:6

How big is God?
• The heaven of heavens can’t contain Him. 1 Kings 8:27
》The earth is His footstool. He’s controlling everything going on here on earth.
Isaiah 66:1, Psalm 2: 1-4
》What happens when He stands? Psalm 68: 1-3
° Foundations of prisons begin to shake
° Every yoke will be loosed
° Enemies will become servants
° Captors will come to beg

• How long are His arms?
》His arms are everlasting; they cannot be measured. Deuteronomy 33:27
》When He stretches out His arms, He covers everything- from your far beginning to your far ending. Psalm 90:2
》You cannot go so low that God can’t reach you.
Your case cannot become hopeless if you’re a child of God.
》He can begin to promote you, because His arms are under you. 1 Samuel 2:7-8
》Not only can God promote, He can promote everlastingly.
》When God is the One promoting you, you just keep on going higher and higher.

• Elisha.
  》From farmer to son of prophet. 1 Kings 19: 19-21
  》Then Prophet

• If the Lord keeps you in the hollow of His hand, you’re forever secure. John 10: 27-30

☆ There is something called Wonder of Wonders.
》As big as God is, He can make Himself so small that He can dwell in the heart of a man. 1 John 4:4
》When He’s in you, you keep succeeding. Philippians 4:13

Salvation Call
If you’re not a child of God, run to Him right now.
Invite Him into your life.
Ask Him to have mercy on you, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.
