Kenneth Copeland Reveals Why Delay Can Be A Good Thing- What Ever Believer Should Note

In our world today, speed is essential. Everything is fast. Text messaging, noodles and internet. It seems like we’re slowly losing the important virtue of patience. People get very impatient when there is a little delay, and they make choices they soon regret.

No where does this occur frequently than on the highway. How many times have you seen an accident because some driver could not wait his turn? Or maybe a driver made an impatient move and blocked the road for everyone?

Kenneth Copeland has said that sometimes a delay can be good so you can make a right decision. He said that the enemy can try to use impatience to put pressure on you to make the wrong choice, but you should let the wisdom of God lead you to victory.

It is not a coincidence that one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is patience. Delay can be a good thing. It could be God trying to prepare you for the place he’s taking you to.

Look at Moses for example. God was preparing him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, and he was delayed from fulfilling his assignment for 40 years. Remember when he tried to do it before it was time? He wasn’t patient enough and he killed an Egyptian. It wasn’t long before he was wanted as a criminal, and he had to flee Egypt. When he returned after his 40 years of waiting, he was able to show enough maturity in spite of Pharaoh’s double mindedness, and he successfully delivered Israel from the hands of the Egyptians.

I don’t know what aspect of your life where you’re currently experiencing a delay. Perhaps you have waited so long to get married, or get into school, or get that big break you’ve always dreamed of. Why don’t you see it as a training opportunity from God to you, preparing you for maturity when it finally comes? Why don’t you see it as an opportunity to exercise God’s wisdom so you can make the right choices? Your attitude in waiting is very important. Be blessed.
