Lekki Toll Gate Massacre: Bishop Oyedepo Raised A Cry For Mercy And Intervention

The End SARS protest started couple of weeks ago and it has gradually gained momentum. Owing to the hijack of the protest by hoodlums to perpetuate evil, hence the Lagos state governor proclaimed a 24hours curfew.

Irrespective of the curfew placed, some protesters went further to protest all throughout the night even up till this morning. A video shot by one “DJSWITCH” captured a war scene where there were several gunshots with life ammunition, leaving several persons wounded and many dead. In response to the massacre, the president of living faith church raised a cryover the situation. The cleric whose voice was a bit sorrowful exhorted the congregation to raise their hands unto God for mercy.

He encouraged the congregation that each time one cries out for mercy, one attracts Divine attention. He continually and emphatically exhorted the congregants to cry unto God for mercy.

Recognizing that there has been spates of bloodshed in the nation in the previous night, hence the cry for mercy becomes paramount for the bishop.

He went further to ask the congregation to pray for Divine intervention upon Nigeria. He stated categorically that when Jesus steps into any situation, there is calmness. He repeated asked the congregants to cry out for Divine intervention.
