“Many times when we have a moment of pain, it makes us angry at God”, Pain Is Not The Absence Of God, But It Is A Proof To This – Pastor Jabin Chavez

“You just got to know you’re right at the edge of a miracle.”

Pain is not the absence of God, but proof that we need Him as our healer.

Pain

Pastor Jabin Chavez shares a message about pain and what does God want us to do when we feel it. He began his message by emphasizing that pain is not the absence of God. However, it is a wake-up call for us to pursue God.

“Many times when we have a moment of pain, it makes us angry at God,” Jabin said. “But Bartimaeus instead begins to pursue God. Because pain does not prove the absence of God, pain proves how much we really need a healer. And Bartimaeus says, ‘I’m not going to let my current situation stop me from the move of God.’”

Holy Spirit

Just as the blind beggar, Bartimaeus, kept calling unto God for healing, we should also keep on pursuing God for our healing. When we are being tormented, we should not ask God why, but instead, ask for Him. The Christian singer then continued to explain the difference between the spirit of religion and the Holy Spirit.

“The spirit of religion wants you in church but doesn’t want you to be the Church. A spirit of religion to act holy but not really be holy. A spirit of religion wants you bound up in pain but looking like you’re healed but never really healed. But the Holy Spirit actually wants to bring real freedom to your life,” he explained.

Pain is not the absence of God but an opportunity for breakthroughs and miracles to happen. Don’t let the lies of the enemy stop you from pursuing God.

“When you hear the voice of the enemy trying to stop you from everything God has, you just got to know you’re right at the edge of a miracle.”
