There is nothing spiritual about morning devotion. It is just a routine, tradition and religious practice.
Pastor Abel Damina, Senior Pastor of Power City International made the comment when he was reading the book of Job in a live video some minutes ago, Job 1: 5 where Job( rose early in the morning and offered burnt offerings according to the number of all, for he said it may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did job continually).
He said in many religious homes they wake up everyday early in the morning by 5am to do family devotions, both the saved and unsaved, believers and unbelievers, those who know God and those who didn’t. He said it is just a religious practice, culture and tradition.
