Nigerian Reacts After Spotting Iheanacho On His Knees, Praying After The Final Whistle, Last Night.

Nigerians and social media users have been left buzzing after seeing Nigerian Super Eagles and Leicester City attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho on his knees, praying after the final whistle of the 2023 African Cup of Nations quarter-finals fixture between Nigeria and Angola at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium on Friday night.

The Nigerian forward who is yet to feature for the Nigerian Super Eagles at the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire was seen on his knees, praying immediately after the final whistle after seeing Nigeria reach the Semifinals of the competition, courtesy of Ademola Lookman’s first half strike.

Sharing photo of Kelechi Iheanacho on his knees, praying after the final whistle against Angola on Friday, Nigerian photojournalist Pooja tweeted: “Kelechi Iheanacho went down on his knees praying immediately after full time”
