The Founder and General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has warned parents not to pet their children. Instead, they should “command” them to do the right things.
Buttressing his points, he said that his children are working for God in his ministry but he does not pay any of them above what he is supposed to receive. He added that he does not give them money, but they do give him. Conclusively, he said he and his spouse are having a deserved rest because they have done what is expected of them.
“Don’t pet your children, command them to do the right things. We have our biological children that serve in this ministry. Not one person earns a dime above what is due. Not one day did I send a dime to any, yet they send to me every month. I and my wife are restful because we did what we should do the time we should do it”, he said.
