When Pastor Damina was addressing his congregation on how they need to understand the scripture, he narrates the story of a pastor who according to him told his congregation that he does not know how to teach.
Pastor Damina said how can a pastor said he does not know how to teach? He said his excuse was that he was not a teacher, so he couldn’t teach the Bible. Pastor Damina said he couldn’t imagine that his members would still come back to church the following Sunday.
Pastor Damina relates the pastor’s statement to a pilot who said he does not know how to fly a plane, but he is saying let’s just fly and see. He asked his members if they were still going to sit on the plane?.

He said a pastor that can not teach Bible is a driver who can not drive in the driver’s seat. He said it is not fit for a pastor to say he can’t teach but he can give ‘rhema’.
He established that it is a must for every pastor to know how to teach and not depend on ‘Rhema’ according to Ephesians 4:11, where Apostle Paul regards pastors as pastoring teachers.
