God is not a begger and God doesn’t owe anyone anything, whatever is given to God is a good investment. Anybody that gives to God will reap it in multiple folds because God is a giver.
While at a church, according to the Open Heavens devotional which is titled “Give Cheerfully”, there was demand for different types of offering. The offerings were so many that at a point, he grumbled as he deeped his hand in his pocket.
This made God angry as he spoke to him in an angry tone, rejecting the money, he said “keep your money.” Adeboye immediately became cheerful, apologize and gave the offering cheerfully, he said he was even more cheerful than when he gave the previous ones.
There are some people who have the habit of giving meagrely to God when it’s time for tithe and offering but if they actually know the benefits of what they are doing, they will take it more seriously and most importantly, give it cheerfully because God loves cheerful givers.
When God asks something from you, it is simply because he wants to bless you.
