In this wise, Pastor EA Adeboye in one of his sermons has reiterated on the position of the blessings of God in the lives of the believers. God can bless an individual to a dumbfounding level. He could bless anyone without measure. A very good example could be derived from the life of Obed-edom. God blessed him abundantly. For complete three days, God kept blessing him more and more than he could ever have imagined, after the ark of the covenant was dumped in his house. In this sense, believers must not limit themselves in what they could ask from God in regards to His blessings in their lives, at all times.

The cleric also narrated how fifteen of the branches of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria in Abuja were pulled down. They were not able to feel the pain of the destruction because, God has really blessed the ministry so much that, persecutions and some calamities in regards to such incidence does not really have much impact on them. Since the church is more than blessed by God, they had sprang up stronger from where they have fallen. They did not miss the properties because, God has been multiplying them, faster than the havoc done.

The Devil already has idea and foreknowledge of what God has planned to do in the life of a believer. He is hell bent that such would not materialize, hence, he is always determined and harmed to ensure that the will of God does not come to pass in the life of a believer. Satan is always unimpressed with the great blessings that God do throw on His children. It is now left to the believers who are the heir to the blessings of Abraham to know how to confront the enemy with prayers and the decrees in the word of God. The blessings and gift of God are without repentance. This according to the Bible pertains to the fact that, once the Lord has blessed you with His divine gifts and blessings, they are meant to be permanent and last to long. Believers are in the advantaged position to achieve immense blessings from the Lord that Satan and his cohorts cannot destroy nor rob them of.
