Sonnie Badu is a popular minister of the gospel and the lead Pastor of a fast growing church called Rockhill in USA.
The Clergyman posted this on his social media platform as he supports and encourages a secular artiste in Ghana for his consistency and also putting his home country Ghana on the map.

Breaking through the borders of Nigeria with music is not a joke. I’ve been here over 10 years and Nigeria is home for me when it comes to music. I am very proud of you @blacksherif_ your music is a breath of fresh air. Remain humble and focused, come up with more bars and stay clean. Hopefully you can win a Grammy for Ghana music sometime in the future.
This post didn’t go well with some of his followers and fans as they took to the comment section to pour out their displeasure.

I don’t understand here Pastor is encouraging a cercular musician and everyone is saying God bless u, Are we truly believe of Christ Jesus or what
Gov Thomas I wonder self, but I think he is just in business of singing gospel music for money. Very sad.

Gov Thomas okay let me come in. Listen brother there is nothing wrong in what SONNIE BADU wrote there, and as a man of God he did a good thing of encouraging an artist. Blacko is not a demon, hes also a child of God, and God still loves him, regardless what he does. You call your self a ‘christain’ getting closer to people blind in christ is a good thing to do, and to show them the way, not to cut them off!.
What do you think about this post? Is it wrong for a pastor to encourage and support a secular artiste from his country?
