Stop mentioning Olorun Babalola And Olorun Adeboye When You’re Praying, It Is Wrong – ECWA Pastor Warns Christians.

In the one minute video, a particular video was posted on a Facebook page of ibn fawole akinyemi, where an ECWA Pastor was preaching against calling the names of the God of the fathers in our prayers.

This Pastor shared a controversial message that would surely spark up reactions from Christians across different denominations.

In the video he said:

Another fallacy we are doing today is to call olorun Babalola Olorun Adeboye, Jesus said at the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. Adeboye will face off Babalola is facing off, 1930 is not here, Jesus did not start working 1930 please….

This as stired up mixed reactions from people in the comment section of the particular video on Facebook as they react differently to the so-called message of the clergyman.

Checkout some reactions from the video below 👇👇

Nothing is wrong in doing that but idolizing it is wrong….Elisha faced a Challenge before river Jordan, what did he do He called the God of Elijah his master. This is a realm. There’s a level at which you walk with God you will become a principality, your name alone with become a trait to the kingdom of darkness…. Nothing wrong in it…. Study the Bible from Genesis, you will always hear the God of my father’s it’s part of honoring grace. But the God news is that all prayers still end 🔚 with In Jesus Mighty name we have prayed. Even you that’s speaking on it there’s a level you will get with God your name alone will carry power… If Paul epron could heal in the new testament, that’s shows they believe the God of Paul same goes to Peter his shadow…. Some let’s don’t indirectly downplaying others… Like I said nothing is wrong in that but Idolizing it is wrong.

Even in the Heavens there are ranks…. You can’t grow or touch a realm without acknowledging those that was, is and coming too…. If you understand what making impact to your generation means you won’t preach this message..

I am the God of thy father’s ,The God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob,The God of Covenant, Listen to me preacher,Your Level of Commitment in the things of God and Deep Consecration to God’s Presence and Evident Move of His Power in your Life and Covenant with Him can make someone pray with your Name summarising it wit the name of Jesus,Elisha cried and said ” Where is the Lord God of Elijah” And Something next happened

You are too empty, please if you dont know what to say just shift away from the pulpit. Is it jealousy or ignorance thats sponsoring this blind teaching of yours????????????

When you have nothing to preach to your congregation try and read song of Solomon to them at least they were adult

Mathew 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You could see here that these patriarchs were mentioned. They are dead already but God is still living. Referencing the name of old patriarchs to pray is not bad. It doesn’t mean we are worshiping idol. We could see here that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were referenced. Man is limited but God is unlimited but God uses men to carry out his mission here on earth. The imprints of these men would forever be on earth as far the earth exist whether we like it or not.. The exploits that were made possible through them came to being through God and not them. Now let’s holistically look at this video and point out some errors. The preacher mentioning Baba Adeboye’s name was not necessary. He even went too far by saying Adeboye would fade away. That word is too heavy to use to prove a point. Everyone knows that Baba Adeboye would bid the world farewell one day but his name shouldn’t be use in proving a point in this manner. This is totally wrong and unacceptable… He could have made his submission known without mentioning Baba’s name..There is nothing wrong in saying Olorun this and that. What’s sacrosanct here is God and not the man being mentioned. The deity of worship is God… May God give us understanding!!!
