The Head of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association (UUEA), Reverend Dr. Uma Ukpai in a video on his verified Facebook handle, narrated how God revealed to him that anointing is not by age. Anyone can be anointed for God, all that is required is just the readiness of the person.
The key points of this story is that God will never let his people down, engaging God requires diligent service, anointing has nothing to do with age and mouthwatering breakthroughs come after moments of sorrow and shame.
Read what Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai said from 1hr 10 minutes into the video: “In 1974, I went for an interview in a foreign country, and they said to me that the ticket I was holding has expired 2 years ago. I was asked to leave the Visa office.
“When I returned to Uyo, no food. I said to God ‘no preaching’, I am going to lock myself up for one month and cry unto God for He cannot disgrace me like this.
“After successfully locking myself up for one month, I opened my door and there was a letter on the floor, inviting me to speak in a World Convention.
“When I went with the letter to the embassy, they said to me that the invitation was not for me, adding that I am too young to speak in a World Convention. Immediately, God opened my understanding that anointing has nothing to do with age. The officer immediately accepted the letter and accorded me the honour behind the invitation after hearing what God revealed to me”.
