Damilola Mike-Bamiloye is the first issue of both Evangelists Mike, and Gloria Bamiloye of the renowned Mount Zion Faith Ministries. He was born in the year 1989. He is a graduate of Mass Communication from Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State of Nigeria. The Mount Zion Faith Ministries was established in 1985. They have been churning out wonderful Christian gospel movies since 1993. Their emergence in the modern movie-making world is now over two decades, with no sign of slowing down. The emergence of their children into the mainstream of their giant movie making outfit has attuned the confidence and standard of the movie outfit to a 21st-century state of the art standard. This is also being witnessed as a result of the improved technology and proper handling of the latest equipment and applications introduced by their children.
As was Mike Bamiloye’s habit, he has taken time to study his children in their various areas of interest. This he was able to properly address by introducing them earlier enough into the activities of the Mount Zion Movie production outfit from their younger ages. As such, the children discovered their different areas of interest and are duly established in them. Damilola was never at any time in the camera operation unit. His emergence as a camera operator came as a result of the absence of an operator while he accompanied his father as his Personal Assistant on an international movie shoot in far Australia.
According to sources, Mike Bamiloye told him to get himself prepared as he would be the one to handle the camera during the shooting of the movie. Having been short of a cameraman in far Australia as mentioned, he did not have any choice but to get himself prepared for the great challenge. This set him to start to do proper research on camera operations and the necessary professional rudiments that entail its operation. He also consulted the former cameramen that had worked with his father. Thus he gathered the necessary information needed at that period of impromptu camera operation. He successfully shot his first movie, “Harvest of Crisis”.
As a result of his resilient spirit, and an insatiable thirst to get the best in the areas of camera operations, which is his area of interest, he successfully emerged as the Director of Photography of the Mount Zion Movies. A position that entails expertise and staunch professionalism. His expertise is indisputable as the various movies being released from the stable of Mount Zions Movies showcases his professionalism and expertise. He has shot several movies and produced ones that are world standard. He is fast becoming a great force to be reckoned with in movie productions and intellectual cinematography.
