According to Apostle Joshua Selman, Many Christians are suffering today in their marriages because they undermine the power of compatibility.
He made this known during a sermon in his church in Zaria, he said:
“The reason why some unbelievers that are not born again have good marriages is because they are compatible. Many Christians think being born again will solve compatibility, so they just marry any random born again Christian sister or brother.
Whether you saw your partner in a vision or not, if you are not compatible, your marriage will not last. To be able to live together in peace, you need to have the same ideologies. Marry someone that shares the same thoughts with you on spiritual matters and issues surrounding life generally.
Imagine a marriage where one party believes in praying in tongues, whereas the other doesn’t; or a marriage where one party believes in some fetish actions or ceremonies and the other person does not, such marriage will definitely experience friction.
It is better to marry someone you are compatible with than to marry someone because your pastor says he is your God ordained spouse.”
Conclusively, he urged everyone that is looking for a spouse to go on their knees and pray for divine direction and guidance.
