Pastor Faith Oyedepo spoke at The Dedication Service of The Faith Dome, Winners Chapel International Maryland, U.S.A. it was the Second Service and she revealed that if you give your life to God, you are the one benefiting, God is not the one benefiting. God’s servant has said over and over that God does not need you and me for anything but you and I don’t need God for everything including the breath in your nostrils.
She revealed that on the 12th of October, 1976, her fiancee (Now Bishop Oyedepo) wrote an article that contains a covenant of dedication to God and he handed unto God all. She said that she can remember that particular day as he called her and they went into the church together and he brought out the written covenant to sign upon it. She said that he read it to her and said, “Look at this.”
Do you think you can still marry such a man like this? Wherever God says is where I am going; whatever he says to do is what I am said to do; wherever he sends me I’m ready to go. No looking back. If it means wearing ok be trousers for years, I will never even question him. He asked her if she’s is ready and she replied that if she didn’t say yes, we wouldn’t see her on that pulpit.
She then said that in the physical, nothing attracted her to him, but in the realm of the spirit, a life dedicated to God has the greatest future. Forty five years after, she said that there are no regrets of any kind. “Don’t you ever be blinded by the things only physical eyes can see,, the things in the realm of the spirit are even more real,” she concluded.
