One of the most reputable preachers, Apostle Joshua Selman, the founder and senior pastor of Eternity Network International ENI, revealed in a video uploaded on Facebook, why some people are not growing in finance.
Apostle Selman clarifies that the fact that God mandates us to give does not mean we should be careless. He observes that some people are emotional givers and that affects them financially.
He disclose that some people who already gave to his ministry later call the finance department that they made mistake and they would love to have it back. He said it’s because they give out of emotion.
He said some people when they call for a vow or giving, and they see their colleagues donating, he said because of share carnality and pressure not that the person was led by the spirit. He will also go out to do what he can’t afford.
He stated that some people left the church because they vow a vow that they can not pay. He lastly said that most people don’t prepare their offering from home, they just check their pockets for any denomination they are comfortable with and give. He said that kind of people can never grow in finance
