Nigerian gospel preacher, Apostle Joel Ogebe, founder and senior pastor of House of Salem Ministry, has in a video released to his official Facebook account a few minutes ago, revealed one way to know if a prophet is fake.
According to Apostle Joel, one way to know that a prophet is not real or that he is a deceiver is that he ‘sweet-talks‘. He said such a prophet will promise people bogus things. For instance, if you can shout “7 amen,” the next miracle is yours.
The cleric stated that he had never seen the apostle Paul do that during any of his exaltations; Peter never did that during any of his exaltations; and Jesus.
Joel observes that those prophets brought things that were not necessarily from the world system. He stated that the mouth of a deceiver is a mouth that flatters; he will give himself big names so that you can trust him.
He said that is why you will see someone naming themselves prophet thunder-electrician1. He said there is a problem there. Such people will say things that can not be found in the scripture and people, because of their ignorance of the scripture, will be calling for him because they are already deceived
