After the murder of over 50 people in Owo, Ondo State, Reno Omokri a preacher/ activist donated money to the Catholic church in other to help with the treatment and damages the terrorists did. He donated N500,000 to the Catholic diocese and also used the opportunity to plead with others to donate. While asking his fans to donate he replied to one of his followers who accused him of stealing Nigeria money.
He answered by saying that if the money he sent to the Catholic church is stolen money let God punish him, but if it is not, God will be the judge.
