Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries spoke to his members about Church Growth. Every minister of God who owns a church is expected to understand the mystery of Church Growth which is Evangelism and winning souls.
He revealed that any big church that just suddenly went down, the reason is that they stopped winning souls. He said that there are very big churches in Europe that suddenly went down, it is because they stop making Altar calls and if you do that, no matter the crowd, the church will go down. He said that Pastor Adeboye and Bishop Oyedepo are still growing at their ages because they always make an Altar call. They will never finish their sermon without making an Altar call.
He also said that he is growing because there is nowhere he is preaching that he will not make Altar Calls. “Any preaching without Altar Call is motivational speaking,” he said.
