Media personality, Reno Omokri, says the devil is not the cause of people’s problem.
According to him, poverty is often the cause of the problems most people are facing that is why is why money can easily cure them.
He says many religious leaders have made their followers think being wealthy is of the devil.
He wrote:
“Every time you have troubles, you blame the devil.
But in truth, almost all your worries are tied to poverty, not the devil.
Joblessness, poverty, most types of sicknesses and frustration can be cured by money.
Poverty makes you think the devil is stronger than he is!
And sadly, many religious leaders feed this fallacy by making their congregation think wealth is carnal and money is of satan.
Nowhere in Scripture is happiness tied to poverty. In fact, Scripture tells us there is joy in heaven.
And we all know that heaven is not a poor place! In heaven the streets are paved with gold-Revelations 21:21.
In fact, ‘Christ became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.’-2 Corinthians 8:9.
It is the celebration of poverty that is satanic!
