You must have heard of many big Pastors in Nigeria, he is not as popular as the big pastors you know but the recent revelation he gave in a programme he ministered at O.F.M headquarters has made him go viral. Rev. John Azia, the third in command to Apostle Johnson Suleiman and the pastor in charge of the Southern region of Omega Fire Ministry has caused commotion on social media with his recent teaching.
In a recent video trending online, Rev. John Azia in his own words said “do not pray to marry a Sarah”, and he gave his reasons being that Sarah was impatient and led her husband to sleeping with their maid, he also stated that one bad thing about Sarah was that she obeyed Abraham even when he wanted to lie that she was his sister.
Then he dropped the bombshell when he said “the best woman you should pray to marry is Jezebel” and he gave his reasons, that Jezebel helped Ahab steal a field, and that Ahab saw her as his comforter, and that Jezebel was greatly feared by Elijah and that she was a woman who wouldn’t take nonsense from her husband and who was a shoulder to lean on in time or trouble.
This teaching caused serious controversy on Facebook as many Christians are going against this teaching, some say Sarah is the best example of how a wife should be to a husband, that Sarah called Abraham “my Lord” and she was humble to Abraham the way a Christian wife ought to be, that Jezebel is a harlot and a woman who led Israel into idolatry and who controlled her husband, and some said in the book of Revelation, Jesus was against another Jezebel, who had the same qualities with the first one.
