“Water Baptism Is Just Swimming” – Check Out The Three Things Other Churches Do, But Pastor Abel Damina Does Not Do In His Church

Nigerian clergyman and scholar, Dr Abel Damina, founder and General Overseer of Power City International, has in a video on his official Facebook account revealed three things other churches do but he does not do in his church.

Pastor Damina is known to be controversial because of his unique views on some of the Christian doctrines. However, he has revealed 3 things others do as a church but he does not.

1. Water Baptism: He said a lot of people fought him today when they asked him if he did water baptism in his church and he said no. He said they will still ask why and he will tell them, “Water baptism is just swimming, nothing more.”

2. Holy communion: He said some of them will still ask him if in his church, he gives his members holy communion. He said he will tell them no and when they ask why, he will tell them that instead of holy communion, which is just snacks, they eat Christ.

3. Tithing: What of tithing, do you collect tithe in your church? No! He said the right response is that they give more than a tithe because a tithe is for old testament people, but to them, tithe is too small. Ten per cent is too small compared to what God has done for them. He said where others struggle with ten per cent, they give more.
