Apostle Joshua Selman spoke to his members about what prayerlessness does to one’s Christian life. He also talked about what will happen when the spirit of God comes upon one’s life.
He revealed that for some of you, this is not how you started with God. When you started with God, you are fire; you dare not miss times of prayer; you cannot miss the word of God; you can listen to worship for hours but right now five minutes you have slept. “It is an attack, wake up,” he said. The altars that fought your fathers have seen that you are becoming a voice and they are now coming to you, they want to bring you down. He said that Elijah and Enoch had intimacy and passion with God through prayer and supplication.
According to him, nothing happens in this part of God’s Kingdom until there’s a union between the spirit and the Bride. It is the spirit and the bride that tell the word ‘come’ and if the spirits said ‘healing come’, the bride on earth must also echo it before healing can come. The spirit is ever willing to come upon your territory but there must be brides indeed who are ready to say ‘Maranatha.’
According to him, you will begin to see revival break out in marketplaces. People are buying and selling and suddenly the power of God comes on one person who is listening to a message and he will kneel down and ask you to lead him to Christ despite just buying something from you. People will wake up with dreams and start running on the street and by Sunday when you get to your church, though the door is locked, you will find people holding onto the gate and crying “I don’t know the name of what is happening to me, but I need to repent”.
Finally, you need to be able to connect with the spirit for my home and ask him to come upon your life. Check your prayer life and try to reconsider your step with God.
