Apostle Johnson suleman is the founder of Omega fire ministries worldwide. He is a great entrepreneur, a philanthropist and a clergy.
He is the man behind the popular and free to air satellite station, “celebration TV”. His ministry is based in Auchi, Edo state.
Recently he posted a timely message on his Twitter handle stating that one should be a blessing to as much people as he can. This simply implies that he believes in helping the less privileged. I think this is a mindset everyone should emulate.
Moreso, the worth of a man is not in the fatness of his bank account but in the number of lives he has blessed.
Furthermore, the Apostle gave two salient warnings. First, he said “while in the process (of helping people), plan your life. You can’t help the whole world.”
Personally I have read about some wealthy persons who died poor. Some of them were full time philanthropist but never bothered to plan their lives. They never bothered to think about the future, hence, they died poor. We are told to love our neighbor as ourself not more than ourself.
By extension, while helping your neighbor, be helping yourself by planning your life. Are you a philanthropist? A founder of an NGO? Please use it as a medium to help people. While helping others, be seeking for a way to advance your course too. To continue to help others and not plan one’s life is a collosal confusion.
Secondly, the Apostle further warned that no one can help the whole world, only God is the El-shaddai. Whoever tries to take the place of El-shaddai shall die”.
“El-shaddai” is an Hebrew name of God which means “God Almighty”. In other words, it is only God that meet the need of the whole world, no man can.
Therefore dear reader, don’t feel bad if you can’t help that brother or sister in need. If you can’t help, ask the El-Shaddai to Provide. Don’t kill yourself trying to help others.
