Popular Gospel Artiste, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, spoke about what they encountered when the Mount Zion Faith Ministries started. He revealed that a lot of those people who started the ministry with them never believed the future of the ministry, so they never stayed in the ministry to partake in the glorious destiny of the ministry we are seeing today.
Speaking further, he said that in 1998, they were travelling around with nylon bags and sacks, and were sleeping inside church buildings of wherever they were invited. They were getting ready for their first drama ministration at RCCG Headquarters, Ebute Metta, and were arranging the open-air stage. While they had not yet broken their regular daily fast, one of their members asked him, “Bro Mike, Is this how we shall be living our lives? What is the future of this ministry? What of when we begin to have children?” Then he looked back at the brother and said, “I don’t know the future of this ministry, I am only following the Lord by faith and I believe He will take us to a beautiful destination.”
According to him, the brother had since left the ministry. He left when the future was not so clear at all. Now, he is outside of the ministry and watching all the glorious occurrences in the ministry from outside the fence.
