The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry in the Person of Pastor Kumuyi has revealed why he does not lay his hands on people and the miracle happens. He made this known in a recent message at the Minister’s Conference, in one of his sub-topics titled “The Great Breakthrough with Prayer and Fasting”.
He read Matthew 17:19-20, as the disciples questioned Jesus on the reason they could not cast out the demon out of the possessed individual, Jesus noted that it was because of their unbelief. Many people want God to visit them and deliver them, but they still leave in doubt about the power of God. Speaking Further, he said that many times we think if we could have Elijah come and pray for us or wait on the Lord for us, our problems would be over. No, you can remove that mountain by yourself. Some problems in our lives do not go except we fast and pray, and also have faith just like the grain of a mustard seed.
Pastor Kumuyi said, he does not need to lay his hand on anybody before they receive their miracles. He revealed that some people have called from Abroad, and he just tells the person calling to lay their hands on the sick person, and every problem is gone by the prayer of Faith. When he prays, the sick are healed, and the oppressed are delivered without laying of hands, it is the Prayer of Faith that works.
