Pastor Daniel Olukoya has shared powerful insights on the subject of being filled with the Holy Spirit as a believer. He said that when a person is filled with the Holy Ghost, there will be no vacancy for other things. He emphasized that it is essential for a believer to be filled with the Holy Ghost, instead of alcohol.
Dr D.K Olukoya also highlighted the reason why the Bible prohibits prophets from drinking alcohol. He asserted that alcohol has a way of eradicating anointing from an anointed person.
According to him, “When a person is filled with the Holy Spirit, he would have no vacancy again for other things, filled to the brim with the holy ghost, he won’t have time for anything again. But then, if you’re still coming to a place like this, you’re still drinking, you’re still a joker.”
Speaking further, he said, ” The Bible banned all prophets from drinking, meaning that there is a connection between alcohol and anointing. Alcohol has a way of de-anointing you or it can “de-prophet” you, if you allow my English. So it says don’t, all prophets, don’t drink, don’t touch it at all. And all of us are supposed to be prophets and priests unto the king of kings and lord of lords. Ephesians 5:18″
