The founder and senior pastor of salvation ministeries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, in his message titled “God’s Wisdom Is Our Heritage”, has revealed the importance of being observant as a Christian. He pointed out that if you want to be successful, you must study and observe those who have been successful in their various fields of endeavor and make use of what you learn from them.
The man of God said there was a place allotted for observation, and he revealed that the law of gravity, which in simple terms means whatever goes up must come down, was clearly observed by Isaac Newton while he was watching an apple fall from the tree. According to the respected man of God, everybody saw an apple fall from its tree, but the scientist observed something else that they failed to see.
He further revealed that he never asked his mentor, Bishop David Oyedepo, why he was so successful, but instead he observed him and studied how he worked, and he applied whatever style he had learned in his own life and ministry.
The respected man of God maintained that it’s critical to observe those ahead of you who are successful in their various fields and not walk down the street of life with your eyes closed because observation is powerful. He, however, added that you should ask profitable questions and also engage your mind by reasoning in a positive manner.
