According to the video making rounds online, the Nigerian Televangelist and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman has said that, people cannot adopt him as a role model without his consent.
“Someone said to me, ‘Apostle, you know you are my role model?’ I told him, where did you and I meet that we agree that I should model you? Why are you adopting me as a role model without my consent? You can’t adopt me as a role model without my consent, and if you don’t like me that’s your business, it doesn’t change me. What am I going to do with your like? People said, how can a man of God be talking like this? Well, one thing I know about God is that, He loves real people. You didn’t call me, you don’t pay me and you can’t sack me. Whoever does not give me money cannot give me headache,” Apostle Suleman said.
The clergyman also said that because he is carefree by nature, people thinks he is not a man of God. “I know pastors in this country who has unforgiving spirit, they are very terrible but publicly they are very quiet but people like me who talk a lot, are not men of God. Somebody said, Apostle, I’m disappointed in you. I told him, the people you are not disappointed in, how much are you giving them? What is the financial value of your disappointment? Who cares whether you like me or don’t like me,” Apostle Suleman said.
