Bishop David Oyedepo has released serious curses on the perpetrators of the massacre in Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State. He released these curses during the Covenant Hour of Prayer meeting today, as he preached a sermon on the reason why we should be engaged in bringing people to church.
He explained that the church is ordained to be the place where giants will rise in the end time, and that is why the devil is trying to weaken people and make them afraid of coming to church.
He quoted from Obadiah 1:21, which says;
“And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’s.”
“If those vagabonds escape then God has not sent me,” he said. “They shall smell. They shall be forgotten. They shall become a byword and a proverb. They dare to come against the church of Christ? They already have the last straw; the back of their camel is broken. Their generation shall rot,” he said as the congregation shouted in support.
He said that the church is God’s powerhouse that keeps believers on the highway of life, and that the church is the apple of God’s eyes. According to him, God will react whenever someone comes against the church.
He went on to lay curses on whoever sent the people who perpetrated the horror.
“Whoever is responsible for the killings and insecurity in this land, whether in government or out of government, the Lord judge them today. He will pull their roots out of existence,” he said.
He declared that nobody can mess with the church and go free. According to him, the church is a rock that crushes whoever it comes against to powder, and breaks whoever comes against it.
He described the church as a 16 wheeler truck that can crush into oblivion anyone who stands against it, and not even feel the impact.
Finally, he prophecied that the next seven days will be days of horror in their camp.
“There shall be a sharp reaction from heaven. It will happen between days,” he said. “Those people should hear me now. They have always heard me. The next 7 days will be days of horror in their camp.”
