Biography, age, net worth, and ministry of Timothy Oluwole Obadare
Nigerian televangelist Timothy Oluwole Obadare served as the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church from April 1930 to March 2013. (CAC).
Early years
David and Felicia Obadare, a pastor and a small-time shopkeeper, respectively, welcomed Obadare into the world in Ilesa, which is now a part of Osun State in southwest Nigeria.
Obadare was born, according to the preponderance of records, in 1930.
Obadare attended the Apostolic Church Primary School in Ise-Ilesa, where he received his education before quitting owing to severe smallpox infection-related blindness.
Evangelism
In 1949, Obadare underwent a Holy Spirit baptism.
He served as an evangelist for the Apostolic Church (TAC) from 1953 to 1957. In response to Joseph Ayo Babalola’s request, he then joined the Christ Apostolic Church.
He attended the Apostolic Church Theological Seminary from 1954 to 1956.
The World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry was started by Obadare.
He served as President of the Interdenominational Ministers’ Association of Nigeria before passing away in March 2013. (IMA).
Obadare got honorary doctorates in ministry and divinity from Missouri’s St. John’s University and Trinity College of Ministerial Arts, respectively.
