The Founder and General Overseer of the Mount Zion Faith Ministries International, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, has in a post on Facebook given a Bible verse to prove that abortion is evil.
He said that God already knew you before you were conceived in the womb, and before you were born, God already had a purpose for you. This implies that every foetus already has a predestined purpose and aborting him/her is evil. It is evil because a man I purpose has been killed in the process.
The Bible verse he gave to support his points is Jeremiah 1:5. The verse says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you. I ordained you a prophet to the nations”.
