The Bible says, “My people perish for lack of knowledge”; not lack of anointing, not lack of money not lack of power but lack of knowledge. Think about the area where you are not reflecting scriptures. It is not because of the power of the devil. The reason the enemy seems to be flourishing is that you are applying knowledge in that area. Some people have trivialized knowledge in the body of Christ.
For example, some say the teaching is basically going on because there is no power. Anytime there is knowledge, there is wisdom. Anytime there is wisdom, power follows wisdom. Knowing what to do is what releases power.
Moses, you are before the Red Sea nobody ever crossed. Nobody ever escaped Pharaoh but lift up your rod. The moment there was wisdom, the Red Sea had to open. This is the way it functions. So if you see someone who trivializes knowledge, you see someone who will not achieve much for God.
Praise the Lord!

“By knowledge shall my righteous ones be saved”. One other version of this scripture says “through knowledge”

2 PETER 1:3 NKJV
His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

So if you see someone who trivializes knowledge, he would normally say, “oh they just teach in that church. They are just teaching”. He would be building his church on miracles and signs and the people will not be grounded. The people will not be solid. They would not even know the person who is even doing the miracles. So you must be disciplined to align the people and point them not to you but to Jesus. It is the knowledge of Him. See what He has called to; to glory and to power. But that power, that virtue is wrought through knowledge.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through knowledge.

ISAIAH 33:6 NKJV
Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.

If salvation can be strengthened, then salvation can also be weakened. And if salvation is weak in your life, what you do is not to go to another revival where they are shouting. No, no, no! It is through knowledge. Anywhere you go once knowledge is pumped into you, it will rise again.

Faith comes by hearing. Hearing what? The knowledge of Him. And above all taking the shield of faith wherein you are able to quench every fiery dart. The devil knows that once you have knowledge, you have faith and once you have faith, you will frustrate him. So he doesn’t want you to be there.
I always ask a question and I want to ask again. Where was Lazarus at the resurrection of Jesus; who was dead for four days and saw mighty miracles? Where was he? Who did we see? The lady who sat with the Word. Jesus said one thing she has desired the part will not be taken away from her.

So you must let scriptures inform the things you desire and the things you go for; not emotions, not situations. Satan can move all those things to derail you. Halleluyah!
What thrills me the most is verse 6 of Hosea chapter 4 in the King James Version is the part that says
“Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you. Now if you tell me I am perishing because I don’t know something about you, the intelligent response is “tell me”. But they couldn’t ask because they knew God had made it available. They rejected it and went for something else. They rejected it and went for something else. What knowledge of Christ are you rejecting? Are you shopping like at the supermarket and picking the one you like and leaving the ones you don’t like? What aspect have you rejected? I can tell you without a doubt that it is where you are not seeing God in that aspect of your life.

Now I want to talk to about something that I sat down to think about very well. And I am asking that, why is it that Christians pray and they don’t get results? Why is it that some people will say, “Be healed!” and the people are healed but others are struggling with it? Why? What is the problem?

First of all, a lot of Christians don’t know they are no longer in the Old Testament. Some of them still think that they are in the Old Testament. They don’t understand that they are in the New Testament. Now a lot of people who have embraced this concept- “Oh I am in the New Testament”, have torn the Old Testament from their Bibles. What you do instead is to read the entire Bible with a New Testament mentality and understand what is happening. There is no way you can do Law, or do Political Science or do International Relations from Nigeria. You are not going to study Richard’s constitution 1946 or Clifford’s constitution. It is no longer valid but everything you are seeing now in the new constitution was taken from them. You will even understand what pertains now when you understand what has happened in Nigeria right from time. You are going to study Nigerian Council. The first political party. You will study all those things and understand where the constitution now is coming from. There is no way you will be able to understand what is going on now if you don’t study where we are coming from.

But you can’t go to the court and be quoting Macpherson’s Constitution in 2021. They will just be looking at you like Are you crazy? The only time you can quote it is when there is no law reform in that area. If it is still the same, then you can take credence from it. In fact, it will even validate what you are saying in 2021, knowing that there is an evidence that you can use to substantiate what you are talking about in 2021. Am I talking to somebody? But if the law has been reformed and that aspect has been cancelled, then it is not valid. Am I talking?

So I laugh when I see some things that some people shout about: prayer of Jabez. Jabez would have wished he was in your time. Those where human beings trying to pray to a Spirit God, throwing prayer from here to heaven. That is why the devil could block it. And I am not trying to talk down anybody who has a revelation on the prayer of Jabez. But I am telling you the truth: that man will fight to live in our time.
I have seen books written; I am seen major meetings on the Prayer of Jabez: 14 days on the prayer of Jabez. They are taking it verse by verse. He will die to live in your time.

1 PETER 1: 9 – 11

So there are glories that now will follow after the cross that did not exist before the cross. When we look at verse 12, it was so serious that …to them it was revealed… (but God said, it is not for you)…..but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which angels desire to look into.

The things that when they are been taught even angels are like wow! Angels don’t even understand it. And you have left all of that and you are going to the Old Testament to go and pray the prayer of Daniel.
Now I can take the prayer in Psalms and pray it with a New Testament position in Christ. Are you following what I am trying to say? I can take the prayer of Daniel and pray it with a New Testament position in Christ. Some know this thing I am talking about and they have thrown away the strength that was written to us.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10 that these things were written for us to whom the end of the world has come. So we are not supposed to throw them away. We are supposed to take them and drag them to the present truth. Who says Hallelujah to that!
So why am I talking to you about this? A lot of Christians don’t understand the power they have when it comes to the prayer of faith. They don’t understand it. Even though we make confessions. We write them boldly on the stage, and we encourage you to declare.

But some are like, “Hmm! That church, it’s just confessing and confessing. Every day that’s what they say. We want real prayers, real prayer!”
I look at you and I laugh. That’s the position where the enemy wants you to be. Let me tell you this. I can assure you that the enemy loves you in that position and I can assure you that demons like you that way because the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus is nothing in your life. Power is not apparent if you don’t understand the power of the prayer of faith. Praise God!
That was how Jesus prayed and people were like, “Wow! What authority! How did he do this?” it was strange. It was strange. Let me shock you. Even the Lord’s Prayer was given to Jewish people that were ignorant. “Our father who art in heaven” is a pattern. It is a pattern in which you are supposed to pray you are not supposed to recite it. Jesus said, “In this MANNER therefore pray; manner, pattern.

You start by hallowing God; you start with worship. Our Father who art in heaven, HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME.
THY KINGDOM COME: Put the Kingdom first. When you are praying, pray for souls; pray for the kingdom; pray for the church; pray for your pastor.
And then LET HIS WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN before you say GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. When you do that pattern, your prayer must be answered.

There are nine kinds of prayers. Some are
INTERCESSION

SUPPLICATION

WORSHIP – (Proseuche; Proseuchomai from which we have the word prostrate). It has nothing to do with songs. It has a lot to do with your affection for God. When you wake up and you say that, “Father, who will not like a God like you? See where you picked me from!”. It is worship. It is a prayer of worship.

CONSECRATION- This is what Jesus prayed at the garden of Gethsemane and said that, “Lord I don’t want to die but I submit my will to yours. I don’t like what’s going to happen but Lord, your will should supersede mine”. Now with my prayer of faith, I will be able to cancel this “will’ now but I won’t do that because I know you have a greater power. He humbled himself even to the death on the cross. Ephesians 2: 7-10 says, and therefore God has highly exalted him when he made himself of no reputation (paraphrased).

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

It begins with “therefore” which means consequentially. The verse in other words is perceived as never before existed; that is the way the Greek puts it. The species that has not existed before. Put your hand on your chest and say that, “I have no past!” Say it like you mean it. Say, “I have no past!”
There are even pastors who will say, “I know her in school; she aborted her pregnancy three times; No, no, no! You can’t believe him. How can he be a pastor?”
They are preaching but they don’t understand the present truth. They don’t know that the record and the arrest warrant the enemy had to arrest that lady or that man have been torn on the cross. It’s been soaked in the blood. Are you following what I am trying to say to you? Anybody who is a scholarly son of Gamaliel, that understands your history, tell them that person you knew has died in Christ and a new creation has been born in Christ. Put your hand on your chest and say that, “I have no past!”
