Bishop Oyedepo Reveals How You Should Start The New Month If You Want To See Testimonies
Bishop David Oyedepo has provided believers with instruction regarding the manner in which they should begin each new month if they have the desire to see testimonies during that particular month. During his sermon at the Leadership Empowerment Summit, which was also serving as the Covenant Day of Trumpet and a prayer service for Nigeria, he revealed this piece of information to the audience.
He began by reading Psalm 81:3, which contained the instruction to sound the trumpet at the beginning of each new month. This commandment was also repeated in the tenth chapter of the book of Numbers. He explained that the Covenant Day of Trumpet was not a tradition of Winner’s Chapel, but rather a commandment from God, and that if you follow God’s instructions to the letter, you will be rewarded with the blessings that are promised to those who do so.
Every first day of the month is the day that we celebrate the Covenant Day of Trumpet. It is a worship service in which the congregation gathers together to sing praises to God for the blessing of living through yet another month.
He said that if a believer wants to see the month bring testimonies for them, then they should obey this instruction and begin the month with high praise and worship. If they do this, then the month will bring them testimonies.
He gave the example of David, who was showered with supernatural blessings as a result of the worship and praise he practiced throughout his life.
